Tara Mandala is accepting applications for seasonal and year-round Living Dharma Volunteer positions. We are seeking people who want to be a part of our community and who have a sincere interest in Lama Tsultrim’s practices and in learning how to bring their Dharma practice off the cushion and into their lives.

Make a three-month commitment that includes June-July and you will participate in the Three Yana Retreat practice sessions along with afternoon teachings with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam and Pieter Oosthuizen. Many other evening teaching sessions and group retreats are open to volunteers throughout the year.

Is it possible to do this while taking online classes?
For instance if I had an assignment due each week, would I have internet access to do it?
The profound path of the master.

Hi KrisW, this is Clinton, Communications Manager at Tara Mandala. Thanks for the message. Yes, it's entirely possible. We do have the internet capability for this (being an extremely remote location we never had internet capabilities, until only a few months ago, hurrah!) I would advise to email Natalie, our Living Dharma Co-ordinator ([email protected]), and she can give you an accurate estimate to how much time you'll have for external studies and work. Please know, the entire Tara Mandala staff are entering our Losar (Tibetan New Year) 2-week solitary retreat, starting this Thursday, Feb 1. So you may not get a response until after Losar (Feb 16).

Happy Earth Dog Year coming up!

Have a beautiful weekend.

Regards,
Clinton
