This is an extraordinary opportunity to receive teachings and empowerment from White Tara herself! White Tara is H.E. Garchen Rinpoche’s yidam (meditation deity), and her mantra is unceasingly in his mindstream. He has always said that whenever we recite her mantra, we connect with him and he can help us profoundly.

The teachings will be based on the “Refined Drop of Immortality: A Longevity Mandala Practice of Arya Tara, The Wish-Granting Cakra,” written by the previous incarnation of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, Trinley Yongkhyab. Having seen three visions of Arya Tara herself, Trinley Yongkhyab wrote down this text, scarcely violating her enlightened speech. This particular form of White Tara is very sacred to students of Garchen Rinpoche.

In the approach stage, the first part of this practice, one visualizes oneself as White Tara and recites her mantra, while concentrating on the elaborate heart chakra visualization. Practicing in this way, one can attain the supreme state of an awareness holder with mastery of lifespan and can give rise to life, glory, strength, and the four enlightened activities. In the second part, the accomplishment stage, one visualizes White Tara and her mandala in the space before oneself and recites her mantra while light radiates from her heart and accomplishes the two objectives, enriching life and glory. By diligently practicing this Longevity Mandala of Arya Tara with great devotion, one can attain vitality, power, wealth, freedom from disease, and the like, as well as attain the supreme siddhi perfect enlightenment.
