Guru Yoga bestows blessings. When we view the teacher as compassionate and wise, the power of our devotion eliminates the hesitations in our minds; this we call the Guru’s blessing. Viewing one’s teacher as Vajradhara is a method of uniting one’s mind with the Guru’s mind. The important energy in Guru Yoga is that of the practitioner, the student’s admiration and gratitude.

We are fortunate that H.E. Garchen Rinpoche has selected both the teaching topic of Guru Yoga and the uncommon empowerment of Kurukulle (Skt. Kurukullā; Tib. rikjéma). Kurukulle is the dynamic manifestation of Red Tara, the feminine embodiment of enlightened wisdom appearing as a semi-wrathful dakini. Kurukulle is skilled in magnetizing all possible resources.

Kirt's Tibetan Translation Notes

"Even if you practice only for an hour a day with faith and inspiration, good qualities will steadily increase. Regular practice makes it easy to transform your mind. From seeing only relative truth, you will eventually reach a profound certainty in the meaning of absolute truth."
Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.

"Only you can make your mind beautiful."
HH Chetsang Rinpoche
