Extensive teachings and initiations in January-March 2017.
Zazep Tulku Rinpoche received his training under some of the most competent Buddhist masters in Tibet prior to the Chinese invasion. Later in India he graduated from Varanasi Sanskrit University with an Acharya degree.
He is recognised as the 13th incarnation of the great Kagyu teacher Lama Chabdak, who lived in the Kham region of Eastern Tibet and founded Zuru Gompa 600 years ago.
Rinpoche has taught extensively in North America and Australia. He is known for his gentle compassion and good humoured wisdom.

Thanks Malcolm. Good to know. Perhaps it's best to leave this topic up for this reason. You just can't be too careful out there!Malcolm wrote:Punya wrote:Extensive teachings and initiations in January-March 2017.

I should explain that I haven't attended any of his teachings personally but I do have a connection with one of the hosting centres, which I know to be ok.

Pointing out someone's sectarianism makes one sectarian? Please be serious.Tsongkhapafan wrote:Someone was complaining about sectarianism, were they not?Malcolm wrote:Punya wrote:Extensive teachings and initiations in January-March 2017.

Black/white thinking like this is a characteristic of cult behavior--FYI.
Re: Upcoming teachings with Zazep Tulku Rinpoche
I once visited Zasep's center in Moscow, Idaho when I lived there. The people there were earnest but the atmosphere was very strange indeed. "Golden Blue Lotus Tara Buddhist Meditation Center," it was called. The connection to the gyalpo situation was explained to me afterward.
(If you are looking for a Dharma community and you are in Moscow, Idaho or on the Palouse generally and you found this using a google search--may I recommend Padma Ling in Spokane instead? It's worth the drive.)

Okay, I think, we can leave this for public review for a while.
Thanks for everybody's comment.
