Saddle

I have very special guestions about the channels/nerves/nadis vajra position.
I have got instructions on this where a 'saddle' and other props implemented for help.
The Kalachakra saddle asana and/or the Sakya's 'preparing saddle yoga' are the same or different methods for this purpose?
I would really appreciate your help.
