Tibetan/Ayurvedic Veterinary Medicine

Post by Josef » Wed Apr 04, 2012 1:44 am

I am assuming the basic principles are very close to the same but I am wondering if there are any specific differences in treatment both medicinal and through mantra etc. when we are applying healing techniques to animals, dogs in particular.

My mother just found out that her dog has cancer. So far we only know of a tumor on his leg that she is having removed on Monday of next week.
I am planning on devoting the weekend to practicing for his well-being specifically and if Namdrol or anyone else has any suggestions of other things to implement beyond the usual practices for averting cancer and provocations that would be much appreciated.

Kye ma!
The river of continuity is marked by impermanence.
Ceaseless flowing of appearance.
Beautiful and repulsive.
The dance of life and death is a display of the vast expanse.
With gratitude the watcher and the watched pass through the barrier of duality.
