Two volumes translated by Tony Duff that came out last year. Has a commentary by Nagarjuna and a Tibetan, plus Duff's own.

Anyone studied them; and if so thumbs up or down?

Now have copies of both volumes. Duff's Introduction says that later (1600? or so) Tibetans began to ignore the earliest Tibetan and Indian commentaries on that part of the sutra that contains Samantabhadra's prayer. Therefor mistakes have piled up, especially in the English renderings of recent Tibetan versions of the prayer.

Duff's own commentary is based on Nagarjuna's and other Indian commentaries. Duff also translates that section of the sutra containing the prayer. Have not read these yet.

If you only knew the words to say all your problems would be solved.

These older Indian commentaries do give a differing meaning to many verses. Duff's book (two vols.) is a good one, though he is often prolix.
