ILLUMINATING THE PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT, which is his commentary on the small Lamrim of Je Tsongkhapa and Atisha's Light on the Path. Not a big book, less than 200 pages, but covers the basics.

It may be online too.
May all seek, find & follow the Path of Buddhas.

Hurrah :) thank you for posting. . It sounds wonderful, will look for it online sometime today.

My present one is Buddhism in Tibet; a whole lot of wonderful stuff in there, it is a fairly bit advanced. . . My own studies, I came to the Dalai Lama last in my line of studies, pretty much. . . it was interesting, and it worked out perfectly. :) (in this book also, an emphasis on concentration)
