The four means of converting beings to the Dharma are generosity (which itself as four aspects: giving material gifts, conferring fearlessness, loving kindness and teaching Dharma), pleasant speech, conduct and setting an example.

Looks interesting. Do you think it's applicable to all kinds of books? Also, is it something you can apply right away?
Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

Combine it with:

https://www.amazon.ca/Your-Memory-How-W ... improve+it

I'm going to start rereading these two today, and will continue to reread them until I can confidently teach others how to read and memorize well.

I haven't started with Make It Stick yet and now it seems it could be more productive to read How to Read a Book first haha.

Amazing!
I enjoy these, and not just as some sort of status signaling of intellectual adroitness. Nonetheless, I've always found the strange markings contained within to be somewhat off-putting.
