Mani Kabum Translation by H.E. Trizin Tsering Rinpoche
Has anyone read or gotten a copy of this two volume set? It looks amazing, but too much for me to afford at this time. Hopefully sometime this year.

From the forward, by the editor:
With all due respect to the long hours they've put into this "translation", I find this sentiment completely unacceptable. My job was a lot easier. It was like weeding a forest. I just had to be careful not to remove the right words, and English grammar was really not a top priority. As long as the reader is able to grasp the essence of the text, its purpose is served.

Is this Mani Kabum the same as the Karanda-vyuha Sutra?

Rigpa WikiMani Kabum (Wyl. ma Ni bka' 'bum) - a collection of teachings and practices focused on Avalokiteshvara, attributed to King Songtsen Gampo and revealed as a terma by three different masters: the siddha Ngödrup, Nyangrel Nyima Özer, and Shakya Ö.
