New temple discovered in Tarim Basin

Post by kirtu » Mon May 14, 2012 1:56 am

A previously unknown Buddhist temple, dating back some 1500 years, has been discovered in the Tarim Basin south of the Taklimakan Desert. The architecture of this temple is Indian and the art is from the Greco-Buddhist style.

Wow that sounds rather significant to say the least. I'd love to see some pics though.
