The Heart of the Path

Maybe this forum should be titled Sutra & Shastra Studies.

In any case, this book by Lama Zopa Rinpoche is sub-titled Seeing the Guru as Buddha. It has a Foreword by HH Sakya Trizin, a glossary, index, bibliography and is almost 500 pages.

Here is a little about it:

It is not a matter of achieving Bodhi or attaining Buddhahood. Rather, you yourself become aware that your own mind has always been fully enlightened.

The old link above still works and the 'little about it' is actually the entire text online.

The Avatamsaka Sutra among others, is full of the need for and the value of, a 'good knowing advisor'.
