Contemplating the power of Tathagata's Primal Vow,
One sees that no foolish being who encounters it passes by in vain.
When a person single-heartedly practices the saying of the Name alone,
It brings quickly to fullness and perfection [in that person] the great treasure ocean of true and real virtues.
- Shinran Shonin

NEPAL. The Great Stupa of Bodhnath glows with the light of a hundred thousand butter-lamps, offered every Friday during the funeral ceremonies for the great Tibetan master Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. The Great Stupa of Jarungkashor, Bodhnath, in Nepal's Kathmandu valley. The stupa is a major pilgrimage place for Tibetan Buddhists, for its construction was linked to the establishment of Buddhism in Tibet. Every early morning and late afternoon, hundreds, sometimes thousands of devotees circumambulate the stupa many times, reciting prayers, as a devotional gesture. According to ancient legend, the four sons of the poultry-woman Shamvara who built the stupa were reborn as the Guru Padmasambhava, the Abbot Shantarakshita, the King Trisong Detsen and the minister Bami Trihzi, as the result of wishes they made on completing the stupa.

Dreaming of the Tiger Spring (simplified Chinese: 虎跑梦泉; traditional Chinese: 虎跑夢泉; pinyin: hǔpáomèngquán) is a spring and scenic, as well as historic, location in southwestern Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.
The water from the spring itself seeps out from quartzite and is regarded as the third best in China. The water is popular for brewing teas, such as the local specialty, Longjing tea.
Tiger spring is also the burial place of monk Jigong.

Wat Rong Khun in Chiang Rai, Thailand is unlike any Buddhist temples in the world. The all-white, highly ornate structure gilded in mosaic mirrors that seem to shine magically, is done in a distinctly contemporary style. It is the brainchild of renowned Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat.
Actually, the temple is still under construction. Chalermchai expects it will take another 90 years to complete, making it the Buddhist temple equivalent of the Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona, Spain!
