Therefore there is no Indian version of this text. You can choose whether to recite it in English or Tibetan. Either way, you should know the meaning of what you are reciting, not just mouthing words.
Sometimes lamas advise specific numbers to recite for a specific purpose. If you have not been given a certain number, you can recite it however much you want. The main point is to doing with as much faith and devotion as you can muster--that's more important than numbers.

Unless a lama has told you personally to do a certain number of repetitions, you can recite it as much or a little as you like. Focus on being sincere.
