Hello everyone, :hi:

I have been practicing Buddhism for 4-5 months, and I simply love it. At first I was drawn to Hinduism, particularly yoga because throughout my life I have had many psychic and weird experiences and they were growing. I couldn't totally identify with Hinduism, but I loved yoga. I wanted to make my way deeper into Tantra, but I still couldn't identify with the Hindu gods, so I started to research Vajrayana and I fell in love with it and Buddhism.

I've had much success, and I've grown so much as a person thanks to Buddhism. I started my practice by doing mindfulness meditation and working with Tara (by chanting her 10 syllable mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha"). I've had so much success because of her, and she continues to guide my studies and practice. Currently I am working on memorizing her 21 praises, which I hope to finish today! I'm also moving slowly into Trul Khor, thanks to a Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and his fantastic books.

I hope I can meet some fun and interesting people, and make some friends here.

Motova.

Welcome Motova!

Tara certainly is a magnificent practice. A friend of mine is currently doing 100,000 accumulations of the 21 Praises, it's more than enough for me to accumulate the 100,000 mantras that I promised myself to do!

Keep it up.

I hope you find Dharma Wheel informative and helpful.
