Greetings, to those I have not met before, and to those will recognize my nick from the sister site 'Dhamma Wheel'. I'm here not due to any trace of dissatisfaction with my usual site, it's just that I have the feeling that there are certain kinds of issues that Mahayana / Vajrayana Buddhist traditions might be more open to discussing in a Buddhist context (well, I'm about to find out!), that from a more conservative perspective might not fit in, that I wish to discuss. Plus I like the notion of an extended 'Buddhist family' across the various traditions, and I've always wanted to have a bit of a wander through here in any case.
kind regards,
manas

Re: Hello all
Thanks, David. Yes, I'm feeling like expanding out into the broader Buddhist family...after my recent experience of someone I know trying to convert me to a Theistic religion, suddenly Mahayana / Vajrayana Buddhism feels like being right at home, by comparison...David N.
