Good Zen Centers on West Coast

Post by J-Bird » Wed Jan 19, 2011 3:04 pm

Hello all....I have a friend that lives on the west coast.
She is looking for a good Zen teacher, and as I am not familiar with the tradition, I thought I would query this forum.

Cheers

I've been to a few Zen centers on the West coast: San Francisco Zen Center (only visited, never sat with them), Los Angeles Zen Center, Hazy Moon (LA), Hill Street (LA), Seattle Soto Zen, and Red Cedar Zen (Bellingham, WA). Which part of the West coast are you concerned about?
