Please pray for my father

Post by kirtu » Sun Jan 30, 2011 3:20 pm

I would be grateful if people would pray for my father. He is in his 70's and has suddenly come down with a potentially severe although as yet undiagnosed illness (this happened this month and I just became aware of it yesterday).

Thank-you!

I will pray to Medicine Buddha for him within some minutes.

May he heal himself, both body and mind.

Thank-you everyone for your prayers and kind thoughts. I still don't know the medical results as yet.

Actually my father has a potentially serious issue with his liver and will know more in the middle of the month.

I am unable to sponsor Garuda practice through monlam.org because for some unknown reason Paypal rejects my card. Does anyone know a site that offers these kinds of prayers that are not dependent upon paypal processing?

Thanks!

They don't have a Garuda practice, but they have other long life and health rituals:

I think they take payments through credit card as well as paypal.

I hope the medical results are better than feared and wish your father a complete recovery.

For your prayers you could try Gongkar Choede Monastery, they use a PayPal alternative.

http://www.dzongpa.com/Donations.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you still have problems with the card, email them and ask, the monks will help. Garuda was one of the empowerments Dorje Dhenpa Rinpoche gave when he came to the UK.

You could try to contact Rinpoche directly through his Facebook page:
facebook.com/dorje.dhenpa

I hope all goes well for you and your father

Thank you everyone for praying for my father and for your kind suggestions. I appreciate them immensely.

I would ask for further prayers so that we all could benefit from wisdom and compassion in order to transform the situation into something positive.

Thank-you and Hugs!
