The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
Tashi delek ,
The Hundred-Syllable Mantra, a form of purification, belongs to the Bön Ngöndro.
Here an additional chant , done by Geshe Tenzin Yangton.

Contemplation:
To conclude the session, imagine that all the manifestations of Shen Lha Ökar of the external world dissolve into light and dissolve into the Shen Lha Ökar that is above your crown. Imagine that the central Shen Lha Ökar appreciates that you are purified from your nonvirtuous deeds and defilements, and smiles. He dissolves into light, which is the unification of emptiness and bliss.
This light then dissolves into you. Then rest in contemplation, seeing the face of the spontaneously arising Shen Lha Ökar, which is the true state of your mind.

On Geshe's sound cloud there are two recordings that have no English titles, do you know what they are?

Tashi delek L,
Sorry, i do not know the English titles.
But guess that it is maybe a prayer to Shardza Tashi Rinpoche and Tsewang Rigdzin.

It is part of ngondro practices.Lung Tha wrote:Where is this hundred - syllable mantra used?

Is Atri ngondro similar with.other ngondro in bon and outside?Lhasa wrote:It is part of ngondro practices.Lung Tha wrote:Where is this hundred - syllable mantra used?

Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
Yes, but each ngondro has some differences, not all have prostrations, for example. Somewhere I have seen a comparison of the three Bon ngondros, but I can't find it now.Lung Tha wrote:Is Atri ngondro similar with.other ngondro in bon and outside?Lhasa wrote:It is part of ngondro practices.Lung Tha wrote:Where is this hundred - syllable mantra used?

No prostrations in atri dzogchen maybe?Lhasa wrote:Yes, but each ngondro has some differences, not all have prostrations, for example. Somewhere I have seen a comparison of the three Bon ngondros, but I can't find it now.Lung Tha wrote:Is Atri ngondro similar with.other ngondro in bon and outside?
Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
It might depend on the Lama who is teaching it. In the pdf below on Akrid, there are no prostrations listed in the practices.Lung Tha wrote:No prostrations in atri dzogchen maybe?Lhasa wrote:Yes, but each ngondro has some differences, not all have prostrations, for example. You can use the search term (A khrid) for Atri, there are videos on youtube.
Manual http://abhidharma.ru/A/Tantra/Content/Bon/0001.pdf
In the book "Oral Tradition from Zhang-Zhung, is a Bon dzogchen practice manual and the list of preliminary practices does not include prostrations.
Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
Not only. It is also part of the Gyelwa Gyamtso practice. Moreover, you have several 100 syllable mantra in Bön.Lhasa wrote:[It is part of ngondro practices.
Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
Sure but these differences are probably not what you think they are.Lhasa wrote:Yes, but each ngondro has some differences,
Wrong. All Bön ngöndros have prostrations. They are performed together with refuge.not all have prostrations, for example.
Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
No, except if the master teaches a simplified version for overweight or busy westerners.Lhasa wrote:It might depend on the Lama who is teaching it.
It is because they are performed together with Refuge. In the pdf below on Akrid, there are no prostrations listed in the practices.
Same answer: they are performed together with Refuge. In the book "Oral Tradition from Zhang-Zhung, is a Bon dzogchen practice manual and the list of preliminary practices does not include prostrations.

Can you prove that Mrs. Mutsuk ?
Same like your previous accusation regarding that i would be in France imprisoned, which you published here on DW, what a shame
You have had luck that i did not went to the French Court and made more out of it.
Or again a try to make war based on old illusionary memories , based on protectionism?

Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
Well, I don't think I have to, but it's something the mods can figure out quite easily. And I think every reader will see that pretty easily too when this "Lung tha" posts a little bit more, writng exactly like you (and no offense, but nobody writes like you)... And we'll all see if he "suddenly" decides to stop posting from now on... Come on KL, do you think people are stupid ? You were already using these two identities (and maybe more) on your own forum back in the day, asking questions to yourself... silly, no?kalden yungdrung wrote:Can you prove that Mrs. Mutsuk ?
I don't think I refered to France, you are being delusional. Simply, at that time your record was on the internet (and is maybe still there).Same like your previous accusation regarding that i would be in France imprisoned, which you published here on DW, what a shame
No, it just results from being bored at reading the volume of incorrect information you spread about Bon, and when it's not incorrect, it is barely understandable due to your chaotic grammar.Or again a try to make war based on old illusionary memories , based on protectionism?
Re: The Hundred-Syllable Mantra
This is an example of the incorrect information that you give here.kalden yungdrung wrote:Sorry, i do not know the English titles.
But guess that it is maybe a prayer to Shardza Tashi Rinpoche and Tsewang Rigdzin.
The first link is about the recitative section of the preliminaries of the sKu-gsum rang-shar. It is often nicknamed as "rTsa rlung gsol 'debs", although it is not its original title which is actually "sNgon ‘gro rjes kyi tshig bshad thugs rjes myur gzigs".
The second link is not a prayer to Tsewang Rigdzin but a prayer by Tsewang Rigdzin. It was actually orally transmitted to rDzi bo Rig pa rang shar by Tsewang Rigdzin as the former was practicing in the sTong rgyung cave in gNam mtsho.

I know that Dzogchen has some preliminaries, which are not the same as Ngöndro, they are called Korden Rushan.
Maybe it is this what you meant ?
