link in DNS post wrote:Beyond its scale, Seven Magic Mountains differs from traditional rock balancing in that it uses an inner support structure, presumably to help it withstand the desert’s high winds.
That is a smart solution. So, the artist could make the construction seem impressingly unstable and dangerous while it's save hiddenly.

Looks very funny. Popart. But it stands as opposition to the desert, not as support.

The eye of the beholder, and all. That doesn't do it for me, but I am pretty boring by nature.
When walking, standing, sitting, lying down, speaking,
being silent, moving, being still.
At all times, in all places, without interruption - what is this?
One mind is infinite kalpas.

I find it quite hideous. But then I'm not even fond of the the occasional 'zen' formations that folks pile at the beach. At least those have the decency to get washed away with the tide.

I do too - and think how many needy human beings that $3.5 million could have helped.
Leave the polluted water of conceptual thoughts in its natural clarity. Without affirming or denying appearances, leave them as they are. When there is neither acceptance nor rejection, mind is liberated into mahāmudra.
