The Road Trip

I am taking a road trip to the Colorado Rockies soon. If anyone can recommend some Nyingma centers in Colorado or Kansas, etc (I will be coming in form the East), I would greatly appreciate it, as it would be nice to possibly visit some on these places on my trip (even if just to see). Thanks! Kevin

P.S. Any other destination recommendations I am open to too. This will be my first time in Colorado. I have always wanted to see the Rockies.

This trip is more about visiting CO than it is Dharma. I just figure it would be remiss of me not to stop in since CO is such a geat place for Dharma.

Yes, I've spent a fair amount of time in Crestone. There's not much going on unless you are at a retreat or teaching, but you can see stupas and may meet some fellow practitioners. It's just good to put it on your personal map, makes it easy to return for serious practice. The San Luis Valley is an extraordinary place on this earth.

It sounds really nice. I will definitely be visiting it. I am also looking forward to seeing the stupas.

I am sure it holds tremendous blessings. In a video Lama Tsultrim explained that the gonpa is built based on a vision she had with Vimalamitra and a dream, etc.

Well it is fitting then for Lama Tsultrim, of course. Colorado tomorrow. I am looking over some things now to see if I should go North first to Boulder or down to Pagosa Springs first. It will be an extra days drive to Pagosa Springs.
