I would like to know some interesting teachers and places in China where one can learn and immerse oneself in dharma.

Larung Gar.

Chinese name: 五明佛学院

Yachengar too.

You can take rides from Chengdu to both places.

Have you thought about Taiwan? There is generally more freedom of religion there and much of the Buddhism is Chinese.

I think most places in China, immersive Buddhist practice is more reserved for monastics but I'm pretty sure retreats are open for most people, you will probably have better luck in Taiwan.
