I found an excellent English recording of the medicine buddha sutra online and have been listening to it often.
I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of an English reading of the Amitabha sutra?

"Reading" is the right word for this.
But at least it doesnt sound totally terrible.
And translating the deities names is a good thing.
No matter what anyone here says about shambhala, we should credit them with being some of the only people who can chat in english and make it sound good. (I do know of one other group who can chant the heart sutra in english and have it sound nice)
