This forum is da bomb!

Post by Thug4lyfe »

This has got to be the best Buddhist forum I've encountered so far! The majority are actual practitioners of Buddhism and not Maraism!!! You homeboys are pretty cool on my books! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Some of the other forum I've been to are simply stress inducing, with what people claiming what the Buddha "said" or "is" or what not!

This place is like abit of internet sanity for me :namaste:

Well, I'm glad you like it. As such things go, this is a pretty good forum .......

But I have a question for you. I understand you're from new Zealand. Are you guys still using terms such as "homeboy" and "da bomb"? I live in an American city, Denver, where such terms were commonplace say, ten years ago. Today, such terms are rarely used. It's considered archaic, perhaps quaint, but fell out of favor as common usage. I live in a largely Latino neighborhood and you don't even here the Latino version of homeboby - "jesse" (pr. ess-ay) anymore.

Do folks in NZ actually talk like that?
