Within the context of KL's pleading I would also like to ask if there is a sadhana for Samantabhadra-dri Buddha that you are aware of?

By understanding everything you perceive from the perspective of the view, you are freed from the constraints of philosophical beliefs.
By understanding that any and all mental activity is meditation, you are freed from arbitrary divisions between formal sessions and postmeditation activity.

Greg,

Certainly there are various Shi-tro sadhanas where Samantrabhadra Yab-Yum play a central role. For instance, in Pegyal Lingpa's Pemai Sangwa Thigle ("Red Vajrasattva") sadhana, the yeshe sempa/jnana sattva is Samantrabhadra-i.

Once upon a time there was a Buddha. When he reached enlightenment he went around telling people, "You're suffering. I'm not. Adi ya like them apples?"

Tashi delek,

Adhi means first.

- What was first Nature or Adhi?
- Or is Nature Adhi?
- Or is Adhi used for people who don' t know their Nature?

It just a name for Kuntuzangpo. Don't get confused by what people that don't know Dzogchen write about it.

Tashi delek,

Why should i be confused and about what?
Put only some questions for the elucidation about that term Adhi and Nature.... ;)

Kalachakra system also has Adi Buddha; not sure if it is identical to Dzogchen version or not.

Tashi delek,

Kalachakra Tantra has as their Adi Buddha Dorje Chang / Vajra dhara.

- Well Kalachakra does it belong to Buddhism qua time table etc.?
- Kalachakra is an independent system inside Vajrayana ?
- Is Dorje Chang same as Kuntu Zangpo ?

So i realy don' t know how to classify here that Adi Buddha, maybe we have here total different systems and Dzogchen is anyway not Kalachakra, so their fruit would also be different......

I guess that Dorje Chang must be here pointed out as Sambhogakaya Buddha so their adherents would be Tantrikas.

adi Buddha would be an original basis for the Dharma.

it does not have to be a person. it could be a collection.

the only thing is that it predates the known sources.

the teaching is about how to be the best possible person.

Not only Kalachakra..........Cakrasaṃvara = Vajradhara = Adi Buddha

In fact, many yidams presented in the HYT are depicted as the Sambhogakaya form of the Adi Buddha.
