The Moth Radio Hour

Post by MalaBeads » Thu Feb 09, 2012 8:48 pm

I listen to The Moth Radio Hour whenever I remember. The link below is for last night's program. The segment I want to draw your attention to is Freddie Hubbards' story -it is, I think, segment three.

I am well aware of my idiocy. I am also very aware that you too are an idiot. Therein lies our mutuality.

Mike's the down and out comic in segment 3 and he's talking about tonglen, not Freddie Hubbard. Freddie Hubbards is some bass player.

Freddie Hubbard is a post-bop/hard bop trumpeter and probably the baddest you know what that ever was.
