Upon the single-minded request of the representatives and community of Benchen Phuntsok Dargyeling Monastery, H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche has graciously and kindly agreed to impart the Precious Oral Transmission of the sixteen volumes of the extensive, medium-length and brief Sutras of the Mother of all Buddhas, the Perfection of Wisdom, the Sutras of Prajnaparamita in 100.000, 25.000 and 8.000 verses respectively.
This auspicious event will take place at the foot of the Glorious Svayambunath Mahachaita, in the Monastery of Benchen Phuntsok Dargyeling, from April 2nd to April 9th 2012, or from the 10th day to the 17th day of the second Tibetan month of the present Water-Dragon Year. For the duration of this event, the Monastery feels privileged to offer tea and bread in the mornings and afternoons, as well as lunch, to all participants.
Due to concerns for the environment, paper or plastic cups will however not be provided. Therefore we ask all participants to be considerate of this fact and to kindly not forget to bring their own cups.The sessions of Oral Transmission will begin every day at 8:00 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. We are very much looking forward to seeing you all.
