Resignation

Post by Thomas Amundsen » Sat Dec 03, 2016 9:11 pm

Hi all,

I am writing to announce that I have resigned from my role as moderator on Dharma Wheel. I want to take a moment to thank PorkChop, Ayu, and Kim for their help training me. Unfortunately, I feel I am not in the right place right now to be a moderator, so I am going to step down.

I hope that someone else from the forums will step up to fill my role, hopefully better than I ever did.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hope it wasn't because I shat you to tears! :)

Thank you for time and energy here nonetheless.

Shut the front door!
Clear!
Make personal specific vows to [for example, absorb karma of sentient beings], so that they can reach enlightenment quickly. With deep faith and trust, effects will be experienced immediately. If we can’t fulfill our vows, no problem Buddhas will help us do us; thus generate merit and strength to speed us up and lead us straight to unborn wisdom. This is not a matter of truth or not but faith and willingness. That’s what I was taught. Be aware take karma of sentient beings can be overwhelming. Only do what we are capable of.

Nah, there was actually something going on in my personal life that de-stabilized my emotional condition. I felt I am not fit to be a moderator at this time.
